Watch out, MI, here I come!
I didn't get any buttons made today, but I went shopping and got a few things I needed. Fabric paint for my suitcases (What? I'm an artist!), a cute red plaid skirt that matches a lot of stuff (for 4 bucks, who could pass it up) - good for Thailand too, fake leather to modify my *new* (Not really - yay Goodwill!) leather messenger-bag thingie (smaller than my usual, lighter & easier to carry), and some other stuffs. Thought I'd let you in on the spoils.
Anyway, I packed and stuff, and I can't wait to leave. Why it's a big deal: It's this huge convention-type thingie for all of the central-states exchange students, some rotary members, parents, family... hundreds of people. In one place. We have pins and buttons. We shall trade. Dances. Get-togethers. Do-thingies. Stuff. Lots and lots of stuff. I can't wait! My mother and I hop in the van tomorrow (more like tonight) at about 4 or 5 AM, which is in about 6 or 7 hours from now. Which means I should go to bed soon because I'll be getting up atleast an hour before we leave to make sure we have everything. It's about an 8-hour trip, not including the stops we have to make on the way there.
I've never been to Michigan before.
And this is sure to be one heck of a good time. Yay!
Have fun while I'm gone!
XOXO
